1. Citarum River, Indonesia
Known as the most contaminated river in the world. About 5 million people live along this river and most of them depend on this river for daily necessities.
2. Chernobyl, Ukraine
Chernobyl is a city in northern Ukraine where The Chernobyl disaster in 1986, the worst nuclear plant in history. Had become home to 14,000 head households, but the current became uninhabited and unsafe due to continued high levels of radiation left.
3. Linfen, China
Linfen is a city that has the highest air pollution than any city. Located in the heart of mining in China, as well as a gathering place of pollution from various factories, the air in this town is always dark. 4. Yamuna River, India
Yamuna is the largest tributary of the river Ganges. Across the city of Delhi, an estimated 58% of urban waste discharged into this river. But millions of people still continue to rely on the bleak and dirty river to wash, remove dirt and drink.

La Oroya is a mining town in the Andes Mountains covered in soot. 99% of children who lived here his blood was poisoned by lead. This is a "contribution" from a U.S. company that is engaged in the tin melting since 1922 is built there.
6. Kabwe, Zambia
Lead and cadmium "soaking" the hills in Kabwe after the mining there for many centuries. The children here have lead levels between 5 - 10 times permissible levels distinguished by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The land there had been any contamination so any plants cant grow here.
OMG, this is really bad coz Citarum river, Indonesia also includes the most contaminated river in the world. :(
