A laboratory test in the UK mentioned that the sunglasses are sold at bargain prices, can lead to poor vision, ghosting (double vision) and even headaches. As quoted from dailymail, product trials glasses of nearly a third of major UK stores, otherwise fails to meet the standards.

Researchers for the concerns of consumers are buying three pairs of sunglasses out of every seven stores sampled, namely: Asda, Marks & Spencer, New Look, Poundland, Primark, Sainsbury's and Tesco. All products are tested sunglasses purchased in July at a price of £ 5 down. In short, all products were tested with standard in the UK.

The results are at least 15 pairs failed to qualify the key laboratory tests. Only New Look products expressed all three pass the test.

Among the problems that arise in Tesco and Sainsbury's spectacles, spectacle lenses are made with different levels. That is, between the left and right lens light perception is different. This makes the object being viewed appears closer to the wearer, which is certainly different from the original distance.

While at Poundland products, a pair of glasses that can trigger headaches in the wearer or double vision may also occur or shaded views.

For products Primark, the researchers said could lead to eye glasses cylinder (astigmatism) because corneas are not perfectly rounded.
