"Users would not want to be surprised by the phone bill and do not want to access the page with a large quota," said the CEO of Opera Software, Lars Boilesen.
According to him, consumers typically only want to check e-mail, open the site, and use the application quickly without having to think about how much quota of data packets that they spent.
To avoid redundant data user quotas, Boilesen give some tips so that consumers are more calm in using the service.
1. Opening e-mails and attachments in full only when absolutely necessary.
2. Manage the applications that spend a lot of data, for example by disabling the facilities push notifications.
3. Using a browser that can compress the data becomes smaller, so avoid downloading too much data.
4. Avoid streaming songs and better play music stored on the phone, especially while traveling.
5. Take advantage of free Wi-Fi is always to visit the site, updating, and download the application.
6. Try to open web pages in a mobile version. Research shows these measures could significantly cut the amount of data to prevent users exceeding quota limit data services.
7. Turning off the facilities on a picture or photo browser. Most browser engine actually makes the image display on the phone so spend quota data.
8. Avoid HD video on Youtube when browsing with a mobile connection. HD video plays for 10 minutes per day can spend up to 2 GB of data quota.
